There are quite a few dealers that have lists going just incase the Z/28 comes out. I have been on one of the lists for about 8 months now :D

And how is that different than the many who signed up 2010 in 2008 or earlier?

moreso the dealers that ripped off those "pre-order" customers by charging outlandish amounts of money to hold the "#1" spot on a list.... when the dealer didnt even know what their allocation was going to be at that time. :facepalm:

Thing is... Z/28 is just a trim.
It's not gonna be the global hoopla that the Camaro's introduction was because it's.. well.. a Camaro.

Most people out there don't know the difference between an RS or an SS. It's a Camaro. A rep at the Camaro display at the Edmonton motor show.. a guy directly from GM in Oshawa didn't even know that there was a difference between the noses of the V6s and the V8s!

There won't be back-order issues with this like there was with the Camaro's introduction last spring. I suspect things should run much, much smoother.

Well it's not necessarily "tormenting" them, I was thinking more along the lines for informational purposes. Call them, give them your name and number and ask them to call you as soon as they hear anything and by the time they call you should pretty much have your mind made up on weather or not you want one so you could take it from there. I was considering doing it but I haven't gotten to it yet. I was wondering how surprised the dealer would be just to hear someone calling about it already.
