L99 using LS3 exhaust

Can this happen when the AFM is tuned out or does it require and LS3 conversion?

I don't see why you couldn't.....but also not really sure why you would.

I think if you put the LS3 exhaust on you'll probably hear the AFM more. There has to be a reason why GM made the two different systems. I'm sure if you tuned AFM out then there would be no issues at all.

Again....unless someone just gave you their LS3 exhaust I'm not sure why you would want to do that. There are plenty of aftermarket options including the cheap muffler delete.
