K&N for v6 2013 1lt
I just want to know if spending 300$ on an K&N cold air intake worth getting? What should I expect out of it! How much faster, or how much more powerful will it be? Will it be a large difference? Help me please!

The k&n had the least performance gain out of all of them tested. Spend the extra 50-100 bucks and spend your money once. You will be pissed later if you don't.

I have not read any real positive comments about the K&N intake other than it is cheaper than the alternatives. But for $300 you are shopping in the wrong place. Get a Roto-Fab $277.75 http://www.modbargains.com/Roto-Fab-...-Camaro-V6.htm |
k&n is all hype......

Get a rotofab. K&N are known to give you CEL.

<<< no cel <<

op. this place is like the mafia and you are part of the family now. one of the sponsors will make you a deal you cant refuse!!!!

Not saying that I like it or anything, but didn't the Injen get the best marks on the LFX? From what I remember reading it beat the CAI, RotoFab, and both K&N's in HP and torque gains.

I have a K&N and I love it. There are different models etc. But you will notice the largest difference in responsiveness.

I love K&N! Great brand American made product. Used it in my old 67 Camaro RS and will use them in my 2013 1LT RS.
I simply just like the look... K&N 69-4523TP Performance Intake Kit (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1) While CAI looks to be the best built and 3rd party tested... It is fairly pricey. Unless your tracking racing your V6 the gain isn't worth the cost in my opinion. But some made that choice and more power to them. Buy the brand you like and can see the results for. K&N is fairly open about their testing. You can clearly see the benchmark Dyno test they did was open hood in the videos. |
