Anderson, SC

So, I have had many Camaros over time, and actually just traded in a 2011 SS/RS Automatic for a 2011 Callaway Camaro SC572 last weekend. I never really took the old one out and around much because I was always so frustrated with the way it drove (ie: D.O.D. on the Automatic). Now that I have one that I am enjoying, I wanted to see what there is around the area.

I know it is early in the year and there are not going to be tons of events, but I would not mind getting to know some other Camaro owners in the area and taking the car to local Cruise Ins, Car Shows, etc. Anyone have any ideas on where to go?

Gorgeous Callaway!:word:

Thanks Chris! Hey, I was wondering if there is any way to get a nice spec sheet of something that could be framed detailing what went into my car. Any way we can chat about that?

Oh, and do you know anything about the new Power Window Rick Hendrick in Duluth, GA ordered for my car?

You are more than welcome to come to the Atlanta meets. We like to go out to the drag strip in Commerce on Friday nights when it opens back up. Your only about 35-40 minutes from me

Ah, is that the callaway that was at rick hendrick in duluth for a bit? I saw the car when I was there the first time. Good choice!

Make plans to come down to Charleston, I host a yearly Camaro meet and greet, cruise.
I haven't nailed down a date yet, but somewhere in late Feb early March. We have Camaro owners come as far away as Atlanta..I'll keep you posted...
Michael

Thanks Michael. I would definately come down to Charleston. I have lived in South Carolina for 10 years now and never made it to Charleston more than just passing by on the highway.

We've also got numerous smaller car shows and events in the upstate/Greenville area as well

Gizz69 01-07-2012 01:54 PM

Is there any site or location I can check on when/where the upstate events take place?

swizlstik 01-08-2012 09:27 AM

I would like to attend this event as well. I am a recent 5th Gen owner in Lexington, SC and would really like to get into a cool Camaro club in the area.
