FINAL PRODUCTION PHASE!!! New "SHOWSTOPPER" Heat Extractor Hood

We are in the final production phase of our new Showstopper heat extractor hood. The cowl is 1" taller than stock and allows heat to escape from the rear of the hood. Each scoop on the top of the hood can function as heat extractors as well. Each vent is finished off with a machined billet vent to really set it a part from the rest. Here are a couple teaser photos. We hope to have some installed photos soon.

I'm not trying to be an asshole, because the quality of the hood looks really good and I know your company does fantastic work, but why make a hood that basically already exists in a few different fashions (I'm thinking of a similar VIS hood, I believe)? What sets this apart?

I just LOVE IT. I'm IN on this one (if quality is good) when it ready. make sure you keep us informed.

I like it! But where does the water go when it rains? It looks like it will be on top of my CAI

I don't know, but the vents look like just throwen in there. They don't follow the radius of hood line.

I think it looks pretty dang good personally.

Plus you have Eric @ MPD1 and Showstoppers in a joint venture, that's a win win!!

You have the option of not cutting the vents open if you have a daily driver. The open vents are more for people who don't drive their car everyday or in inclement weather.

Loved the prototype... I think it was the vents (too bad they changed)... need to see one finished (painted and on) :iono:

i like it, i made my factory hood like that with the vents but , always wanted the raised cowl. nice job, after i paint mine and then sell my reg hood and maybe sell the one i made. i may be down for 1. what is it made of?
