Figured out how to make the mailslot functional.

It will take a lil rework of the opening and repaint but it is possible and because of the path any water will be able to drain out. Just figuring out the intake routing that will utilize the stock airbox inlet behind the lights. Stay tuned it is possible. Im trying to figure out how to keep it the same all the way to that inlet at the airbox so you can keep the stocker or use this in conjuction with an Aftermarket isolated box CAI.

Put the knight rider led in there. That would be badass. Saw somewhere on here where a guy has one.

too small of an opening, it would have to be made bigger.

Very cool idea but it seems like a lot of work for such a small opening.

That's one of my favorite mods, even if it IS illegal while driving.

Darin tried a different approach, and I think it worked out for him really well.

Exactly, imma photoshop it. but as far as routing it is totally doable. It will look stock, just a lil more.

Anyone give a small tutorial or pics of how to remove the piece IN the mailslot?
It traps water, and then it runs again and again while your drying your car after a good hand washing.
