TPE builds another Kenne Bell for "SPANKT U" [Pics]
 

Last Week, whiole we were driving out to Socal to pick up 8 more boxes of Kenne Bell blowers, we stopped off in Apple Valley, Ca to do a quick courtsey pick up for a fellow Camaro5.com member SPANKT U.

We figured some of you guys would like to see some build up shots, so you can see whats involved in the install. Unfortunately, getting one of my mechanics to actually take chronological pictures is near impossible, so your gonna have to put 2 and 2 together.. :D

The car is a BEAUTIFULL SS2 RS, with next to no miles. Its soo clean you could eat off of it.

It currently has:

Doug Thorley shorty headers
Doug Thorley cat back
Hurst shifter

Were installing:

Kenne Bell 2.8 Supercharger (Polished)
Lowering Springs
Tune

We have a ton more pictures being loaded, as shes already completed, so check back soon for the final product, along with the dyno numbers.

BTW - Can you comment on the efficiency of the inlet tube? Is there any idea on at what level it will start to impose a restriction? The Mustang Mammoths look SO much bigger, lol (I understand why though ;) ).

I dont see having an intake restriction until 1200+HP. The inlet has already been tested to over 1150hp in its current design.

Although the mustang inlet may look bigger, the cross sectional area of the manifold is nearly the same. I've got both manifolds on display in my waiting area, and they are HUGE..

Ill take a few internal shots to show you what Im talkin about.

If you wouldn't mind, any and ALL pics' of the manifold, inlet, SC, rotors, WHATEVER, would be appreciated. I love looking at all that stuff. I'd appreciate whatever you can share ;)

It's down to either the KB or the Hellion TT when it comes out. If I could only get IAT's from you guys, it would make my decision so much easier.
