Nice work Mike!
|
540 rwhp on first pull but would only make 4.5 lbs. of boost (6000 ft. altitude sucks).
Putting a smaller pulley on to get the boost where it should be, and try again!!! |
Hey, I grew up in Colorado Springs! What part of town is RMCR in?

This install only took about 12 hrs. not counting the tune. Should take less on the next Camaro.
Excellent kit, I'm glad Vortech took their time getting it to market. They got every detail perfect!! Thanks Brian and the guys at Vortech!! Coolant reservoir. Attachment 72567 Intake. Attachment 72568 Intake air duct cut away for more air. Attachment 72569 You really have to look to see the charge air cooler behind grille. Attachment 72570 A look from wheel well. Attachment 72571 Beautiful install, thanks Vortech and RMCR!! Attachment 72572 |
Mike put on the smaller blower pulley, but the belt is now too long, he ordered one. Should be here around
8:30 AM tomorrow, then we'll see what kind of boost it makes. I'll let you all know. |
looks good sir

We have been installing Vortechs for over 15 years and this by far is one of there best kits. Cant wait till we get the belt for the smaller pulley and break 600 RWHP on the roller tomorrow.

Looking Good
