Attention 1LE'RS within a few hrs.of SoCal!! Ariz,Nev,too.

Ok, so myself,KRich 2587(Kirk),CrystalRedTintcoat(Brian)Orange Crush 1LE(Todd)are in the works, for running Fontana on May 3-4.So i was thinking anyone within a few hrs. of Fontana should come out. As it stands, there will already be 4 1LE'S there,so how cool this would be to have a bunch of 1LE'S all together at a track event. You 1st timers that have been thinking about doing this, well you bought a car that was made for this,so get your @ss out here, you guys that have already done track days know how fun this is, so get your @ss out here too. Here is the info http://www.speedventures.com/events/...il.aspx?id=462
Obviously this is an invitation to all here at C5,not just the 1LE'S.

I been wanting to try my luck at road racing, sou RS very interesting. Done a few autox so far.

Anything special needed past a helmet and a tow hook?

Well this will blow your mind, this is nothing like autoX.I was able to get 140mph on the front stretch, and no nothing except a helmet. The tow hook isn't mandatory, but it's a real good idea cause if something were to happen(flat tire etc.)they need to get you off track now.

Hey cornerspeed what tow hooks you running and you have any close up pics? Gonna be ordering brake lines soon and want to look into some tow hooks as well. Also how did he hex vent install go and did you notice any difference at speed? Was the nose any more planted?

The tow hook i got from
https://www.jdpmotorsports.com/
I installed the hex vents myself,it was pretty straight forward.I watched the install video many times, there's just something wrong with cutting holes in a perfectly good hood, and as far as feeling any difference,my car has always felt planted and secure,so i cant give an answer. I have been at 155 MPH too many times to even count, and i need more!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great pics thank you. Well hopefully i can swing by next weekend if not for sure see you in May!
