3-Time NASCAR Champ Jimmie Johnson on the new Camaro & his Camaro giveaway!
Sooooo I'm walking down the hall at the office today when I see a buddy of mine come around the corner and immediately gets this dumb smile on his face and says "Your gonna love this...." He was listening to one of Jim Rome's sports radio shows this afternoon when the show began an interview with NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson. At the end of the interview when Rome and Johnson were BS'ing around about Daytona.....Rome asked Johnson about some extra fun he had at Daytona driving the new 2010 Camaro. Johnson then began an interesting story about how got to put the camaro to the test while at Daytona, specifically how the well the car drove at 165 mph!!!!!! He also noted that it was governed at 165, but felt it could definately go faster!!!!! He also noted that he was giving away a brand new 2010 camaro and a full garage of Kobalt (Lowe's Brand) tools.
Again, I just heard this through a friend so I don't have anymore details, but I did check out the camaro giveway and at least that much is true.........Go to http://www.lowesracing.com/ to enter for your chance to win!!!!! |

Haha.......I almost left the sweepstakes part out of my post. I'm pretty sure my odds of winning just got alot worse.

I went on one of those Daytona rides with Johnson, and I don't doubt that he hit 165 mph. It was remarkably smooth.
