Beat a new 5.0 at the drag strip

I ran 13.29 in the 1/4 in 90° weather. Mustang ran a 13.67. Always love shutting them up. Now I have some goodies under the hood gonna race the new GT-500 and see how close we are. He has a different size pulley and exhaust. It should be close race. Can't wait till October.

Grats but you beat the driver not the car. Gimme that 5.0 and i'll show you ;)

Nice kill. I ran against a 2010ish 5.0 last week and wasn't so lucky. Pretty sure he was stock, he ran 13.07 against my 13.44
So what goodies are you packing now?

suzook 08-26-2013 06:31 PM

Ouch...stock 5.0's should run mid to upper 12's

If it's a 2013 GT500 with a pulley you are going to need a LOT of mods to keep up.

Um...he's running a pulley and exhaust? What exhaust? and Prob has a tune for the pulley change. You do realize the 2013-2014 GT500 will be around 700 hp to the wheels with those mods right?

If he changed the pulley probably has a tune on the car as well

633 with just a tune. More boost and exhaust work will be even higher.
