Oil from the rear end
1 Attachment(s)
Wondering if anyone has experienced this. I have 10-15 silver dollar sized oil spots on my driveway under my rear end. it looks as if it is coming from the driveshaft/rear diff area (see pic below). Along with the spots on the ground i could smell burning oil (salesman told me it was just the break-in oil that they use from the factory) which as it turns out is from oil dripping onto one of my exhaust pipes. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

High probability of a bad differential seal. Visual inspection is required. There's a small possibility it will seat-in after some mileage. Watch the leakage, if it stops great, if not service is required. |
Car should not leak, get it into service.

Thanks for the advice ya'll. I'm bringin her in tomorrow to get this straighten out. Anyone know how much time is involved in changing a diff seal (if that is even the problem)?
