Wow, Mustang doubled month to month. Anyway, we'll let Mustang win a month here and there to make them "feel good" lol!

Wow, crazy. That's the first time in a long time Mustang has been ahead.

Must be because of that Chevy cruise steering wheel....

I wonder, do the Camaro numbers include deposits, orders, for the ZL1?

I took delivery Feb. 17 (2012) of a 2011 that was sitting on a dealers lot... I was the first to register this car. Does this count towards these sales figures? Or would it have been included in the sales figures when the dealer received it on his lot? Just wondering

My guess is the good sales they have to move the last year models off the lot since the new model years are coming ..

Its nice to see these number the way they are. Makes good for a nice healthy competition. I for one don't care who outsells who, as long as we have this muscle car war again we are all winners. people will drive what they want to. I just love the camaro better

cab2g 03-01-2012 11:14 AM

omg. the camaro must be out of style our resale values are gonna drop like a brick, the mustang is totally better in all ways. omg.

Ok, just kidding. But to be honest, I was starting to feel bad for the Mustang... On paper it's a great performer, and to see its sales so low made me sad. But at least the sales for domestic cars appeared to be up in general.

Sales reporting is an odd process, but I believe it does. Otherwise we wouldn't see random TrailBlazers or XLRs still on the charts years after they went out of production.

are these numbers for US only ??

Sales so low? you know they are like 400-600 behind the camaro in the past months lol.
Low sales is the challenger...

Ford must have had a GREAT Fleet month...and those ZL1s they've built since late-January are YET to be "delivered"...of which the vast majority are PRE-SOLD, but remain undelivered.

March will be a "telling" snapshot...
