Casper Electronics 2 click trunk release relay
 

I received this unit for free from Casper Electronics. It's a relay that you add to your car that requires you to click the trunk release button on your keyfob 2 times to open the trunk. The idea is that the trunk will not release by accident when you place your keys in your pocket.

I've tested the item as a beta tester for Casper Electronics but I have no use for the item anymore. It comes will all of the instructions for install (super simple) and it works perfect.

Casper Electronics. They are on the site here. I believe they retail for about 40 bucks.

Will this stop my trunk from popping open all the time?

Yes, if your keyfob is causing it by hitting things in your pocket.
