Anyone recommend? Preferably in Los Angeles or close to LA?

Haddad Motorsports. Inglewood, CA. Not the greatest area, but one of the best Camaro shops in L.A. Mike knows his stuff.

Might try posting in the regional forum or hitting up a local camaro club site to see what they recommend. Frequently if you join the local club you can get discounts from their sponsors as well as a group of people that will tell you about local car events

Haddad in LA is good from what I hear but also give Cunningham Motorsports in Murrieta call. I have seen some of their work and it's amazing plus Ryne is an active member here and is always around to help people.
