Which Amp???
Ok I am looking at getting a 5 channel amp to replace the factory one in my Vert. Here are some of the amps I am looking at:
http://www.amazon.com/AC1800-5-ANARC...851557&sr=1-34 or http://www.amazon.com/Performance-KA...852656&sr=1-14 or http://www.amazon.com/Alpine-MRX-V60...852736&sr=1-11 or http://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosga...0852760&sr=1-2 or http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-5-C...0852805&sr=1-3 I know that these are all considered cheap amps but this is my price range so this is what I can get. So looking at these options or if you have something in this price range (hopefully more towards the mid point) which one would you get? |
kenwood since nothing else is really good in my opinion.

I personally would chose the Alpine as it has the smallest footprint and I know space is at a premium in a vert. Are you planning on replacing any speakers? I don't know how many watts the factory sub can handle..... |
I will be replacing the SUB with a Sony XPlode that I pulled out of my old car. It is a 4ohm sub rated at 300w RMS and 1100w peak. I will eventually replace the other factory speakers, but that will probably not happen until the end of the summer.

The Kenwood would amp would be a good match to your sub and be a good amount of power for the factory speakers, but the Polk would give you more power to work with later when you replace the speakers. I'd look at those two.

I like the Alpine
