Decisions, decisions.

Or just after market pistons, some good coated bearings all around, some ARP rod bolts resized by a machine shop of course. Some good heads or cnc job and you guys will be north of 500 for sure. Hemp you'll probably be the first Ls3-L99 conversion in history lol.

But like I said if you got the coin then go for the stroker.

Lethal claims to have done a LS3 VVT a few years ago. Don't know if its true or not. They said they can design a LS3 cam with a better curve and more overall power than a VVT cam.

Come Friday y'all will see the first ever cam only 550rwhp LS3..... Hahaha

They should have promoted the shit outta that if they did it. Talk about a missed opportunity...

I don't have the coin. Can I get new pistons, rods, etc.. and reuse my crank? Pistons and rods would make a great xmas gift.

That's what they told me via fb. They said the valve train or phaser or something like that is too noisy. :iono:

I just looked at my fb messages and no longer have them or I would have posted the conversation.

^ this, I'd like new pistons and rods as well just not sure what difference it would make with my setup.

I'm no expert but I think you'll easily get 475. Hell I'm 462 with a smaller cam and more drive line loss. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong.

I guess the question is... where does the displacement come from in a stroker setup. Obviously from the stroke length, but what parts are responsible for it? Shorter rods? Is the crank different too?

Crank. Rods are the same.
I'm only saying this bc I'm moving to the 416 and reusing my brand new Callies Ultra rods that were in the 376.

Of course, I could have no f*#king clue too!:bonk:

I think it will be more than 475, I'm just saying I'll be happy with whatever number I get. I'm wanting the performance more than I am a number. Gotta keep those mustangs looking at my tail lights!!!!
