SL500 Test Drive

Last week I seen a Beautiful Mercedes SL500 hardtop convertible on the car lot with only 13,000k on it for $99.900.
After looking the car over for 15 min. I took it for a drive with the salesman.
I called the salesman back the next day and told him that "it was a very luxurious sporty car and I loved driving it , but it just didn't put a smile on my face. I don't need it."

Every time I got out of a camaro It took 4 hr for it to go away:sm0:
I will still wait for the camaro convertible.

I agree. My uncle bought an SL550 a couple of years ago and the first thing I said after driving it for the first time was that it would be a nice sports car for the wife but that I was bored with it after one drive. Nice car though.

I occasionally find myself lusting after the SL65 Black.

great car. the sl500 is a "slug"

the v12 model benz are "torque" monsters.

Great story since there isn't even an SL500 anymore, and hasn't been since 06. And I doubt anybody would be selling an 06 SL500 for 100k

when did the OP ever say it was an 06?

Sorry if I offended you with my lack of knowledge of Mercedes model numbers, but this is the model car that I test drove. It was a 09.

then it was a sl550.. in which case the engines are completely different and so are the trannys...

He didn't...But for it to be an SL500 it would have to be at the latest an 06....
And to the OP, no, you didn't offend me, just pointing out that it would be nicer if we knew what car you were talking about, since it was clear it wasn't the SL500
