Service Manual on DVD

I see "General Motors OEM Service Manual" on DVD for sale on EBay. Has anyone bought one of these yet? They are selling for $29.95.

From sellers feedback, I can only see one that he has sold, but buyer said he was happy.

Most of those I have seen are hard to follow. I like the paper for repair manuals.

It is an early 2010 model year manual (dated 2009). I had a hard time getting it to run on my computer. I tried several computers (with different versions of Windows - XP, Vista, 7) and some would not even work. Also not compatable for MAC. I would save your money and just buy a paper manual.

I agree with Gonzo. I still after 3 different computers to get it to work. Save your money and buy paperback.

I had the same problem, tried 3 Windows XP computers and couldn't get it to run on any of the 3, so I'm returning the DVD to it's eBay seller. Update: I did return it and got a refund.

The guy is ripping off copyright laws and he has the nerve to charge $30? His cost is .25 plus a stamp. Also, its probably a crappy scan of each page (not a nice clean digital format) so it will look like shit. Have patience and wait for his 'competition' to drive the price down to $1.99 like it should be. Or, wait for the true digital copies to hit the web.

Don't give in to temptation.

I have the GM DVD from GM and it works fine. If you PM me I will send it to you so you can try it. If it works then we can talk price. You can buy them from Helm at http://www.helminc.com

Does anyone know if the 2010 version is the same information for the 2011 model? All I am able to find is the 2010 books.
Thank you

Are the DVD's still being sold? All I could find at HELMS is the paper books.

I would be interested in your DVD.

Know where an individual might be able to get hands on a paper 2010-2013 GM repair manual? I used to have a pdf version for my old camaros that had wonderful flow charts. Especially helpful for figuring out where wiring problems exist.
