Kooks exhaust on 2008 G8
So you guys want to hear what our cars can sound like? :D
:bow: |
That's more like it :) Nice !

This sounds great, (although it's not the LS3 I believe as it's a regular G8). Quick question, I know of the benefits/characteristics with going long tubes, but what's the deal with emissions?
I know each State has different standards (I'm in IL where they don't do a sniff test and just check the cars computer), but would a Camaro SS with this setup, high flow cats included, pass an emissions test? If not, there would be no way for me to justify the upgrade. I'm assuming that the shorties with cats that they offer would pretty easily pass the test, but I have no idea in regards to the long tubes. |

Kooks and ARH are among the top companies in my book to look at for exhaust on our cars ;) |
Sounds awesome, but the price for all of those components is absolutely ridiculous - I would NEVER pay that. Also, what can be done exhaust wise without voiding the warranty?
|
Frak Kooks. Go ARH instead.
And GLBL, welcome to modding LS cars. That's par for the course in terms of Long Tubes, Catback, and Catted mids. If that's too much for you, don't ever buy a Vette. The only thing you should do if you're concerned about your warranty is a Catback. |
:bow::thumbup:
That sounded very nice! Thanks for the post! :headbang: |
