Tell them about GM Supplier Discount Before or After?
I am currently in the process of saving up for a Camaro. However, I have a few questions.
For insurance purposes (i'm 20) i'm looking at the v6, but I have access to the GM supplier discount since I work for Geek Squad at Best buy. Its about $500 off. My question is, should I negotiate as low as I can go THEN present them with my PIN for the GM Supplier discount? Or...? Thanks guys |
Tell them before, there is a set price for the Supplier discount. You give them the pin number when you pay for the can. Good Luck its a great ride.

So with the supplier discount, the price I pay would be a set price below MSRP? Rather then just a set amount I recieve off the car? So it is sort of like the Ford X Plan.

I would negotiate before to see how low they can go and don't mention the discount unless the discount is lower then their lowest price. If you mention the discount before they won't negotiate as mentioned above it is a set price.

You can't do better than GM Preferred Pricing unless you're an employee. Negotiating is a waste of everyones time.

ditto

I get a supplier discount... I'm getting 500 below MSRP for a 1LT RS with BA sound.
