IPS Twin Turbo, 427 LSX, 4L80 transmission, DSS 9" kit
 

Those who follow my car build know that I have decided to go with a rebuild of my car for more power. IPS Motorsports will be intstalling a 427 LSX and put their Twin Turbo Kit on it. I'm also getting a RPM Level VI 4L80 transmission with PI Vigilante triple disc converter and DSS 9" kit with Strange section. We're shooting for 1000 rwhp.

The job is well under way. The've taken everything out of the car and have begun rebuilding.

I thought it would be good to put this here in the FI section of the forums to document the build in some detail.

Drive Shaft Shop 9" kit with 3 1/2" aluminum driveshaft, 1400 hp axles (the Strange section hasn't arrived yet).

Not really sure. I just decided that I could swing the 6-bolt heads and a Hogan intake manifold, so we are ordering those today. That will hold us up by at least a month. I am hoping to have the car back by the end of March.

Fuel hat has arrived.
Aeromotive 18674 - ELIMINATOR CAMARO STEALTH SYSTEM
(we'll also be using the Aeromotive 16306 - BILLET FUEL PUMP SPEED CONTROLLER)

This is return type fuel system, so it requires new fuel lines. IPS has fabricated new hard lines for the car and installed them last week.

I ordered some "bling" for the engine bay - a pair of billet valve covers with coil pack covers from Billet Custom Products.
