Tell them to upgrade you to the ZL1 brakes for free!

DaemonGPF 02-17-2014 02:15 AM

Glowing turbos are one thing... Glowing rotors are an entirely different story! Way to put them to work!

Corner speed where do I live?

gmorcos37 02-17-2014 03:00 AM

That's awesome man, I've been wanting to go to Fontana (as I am only 15 min away) for a while now. Just scared about the wear and tear parts...how many track days + daily driving does it take before new pads, rotors, and tires are needed?

hcsi99 02-17-2014 07:21 AM

So those are the new calipers?

1LeSS 02-17-2014 08:59 AM

Great job!!
The white crud on the calipers, is that brake fluid boiling out? or,,well, what is it?

Stock Boy 02-17-2014 09:23 AM

Ughh, I had that problem with fluid on the Brembos on my Evo. Is there a way to prevent that? Seems like it happens to a lot of people that track and use their brakes hard.

I just kept asking myself, "What the hell is that thing to the left in the photo?!"

Yes,that's the fluid pushing out,and it only happens under intense hard braking, but to me that's not ok.

It seems to be the case,i had someone say tighten the bleeder nut when they were hot. I tried this as soon as i got off track, but there were tight.
