Challenger V6 Beat 2010 Camaro SS?
I'm admittedly not well versed when it comes to modifications, but a coworker made the claim today that within a month, he will have sufficiently modded his 2010 Challenger SE to the point that he could beat my 1SS in a 1/4 mile. This seems a little implausible to me, unless he were t invest a LARGE amount of money in Mods. Does anybody have any idea what it might take to mod his V6 to the point I'd have to fear him at the strip with my stock 1SS?:laugh:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...978sapporo.jpg

The only way he's going to beat a Camaro SS is to spend a ton of money modifying his car (forced induction + supporting mods, etc, etc).
V6 Challengers are SLOW. My guess is he won't even be able to keep up with a V6 Camaro when he's finished his mods. |
My thoughts exactly!!

an srt8 challenger can't beat an ss, and thats 45k......tell your friend good luck.

Tell him to watch this video.
If the SS was racing it would beat all 3 of them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCNUs...ayer_embedded#! |
By the time he's done modifying he could have bought a Porsche
|
I figure he'd have to double his Bhp to stand a chance. That's more than just forced induction...

tell him you want what hes smoking.
A stock v6 challys numbers are horrible, would need alot to get it to compare to the SS |
Also; would he's car even function correctly if he did no mods to his A4 and his rear end/ suspension?
|
yep he's just blowing smoke

Can you say snowballs chance in hell? Not a chance!!
