de-badging

i just removed the chevy bow tie from the front grill and put on the old school SS badge on. i was wondering how do you un-install the stock SS badging on the front grill. it looks prety easy to take off but i dont want to mess it up taking it off in case i want to put it back on

Take a flat head screw driver and wrap the tip with a couple layers of electrical tape to be safe. Push the flat head into one of the tabs behind the badge (either right or left of the SS emblem), when that releases and comes loose push the flat head in to the other tab and release that one. The SS emblem and plate should be off and in your hands. Then push the base still attatched to the grill in towards the radiator. It should snap off and come out through the grill.

What old school SS badge you put on?
