Letters CAL displayed on the DIC???

I just reflashed my car back to stock and the letter CAL are displayed in the lower right corner where the direction (N, S, W, E) is typically shown. What is this? I tried restarting the car and no codes are in the CPU, anyone have any ideas?

I'm doing a fuse pull to see if that helps. What are your thoughts?

I believe it is telling you that you now have to cal ibrate your companss. Check the owners manual.

Just start driving. After a turn or 2 it will be calibrated.

Mine did that when I pulled it out of storage. After driving around for a few minutes it went away and the direction showed up again.

CAL = Calibrating

It will go away. I hope ;)

Usually to calibrate a compass in a car, you have to drive it in a big circle, i.e. 360*. So a drive around the block or something will suffice.

No No, it knows you did a tune and it is there to tell the service techs. :( I just love messing with folks.
