PICTURES INCLUDED passanger inside windshield pillar cover keeps popping out
 

:readthethread:ive had my car 3 days now and the plastic cover that covers the windshield pillar keeps popping off any body else have this problem car was delivered with it popped off so where the hell is the qc for this shit . and alll i say to my self is that i bought american . say what you want but there is allways something . and yes foreign cars have problems to but something like this is not called for . so say what you all need to say . yes ive owned 11 new american cars so i can say this. gm this is the hottest car i have ever had . even better then my vet and 3 escalades just try to check these cars out a little better . maybe im the only one .but one to many .you guys kept alot of cars from these people who have been waiting a long time in qc so we really dont need to be back at the dealer a week later . i know im just going on but dont tell us this is your best quality when something this simple gets over looked thanks ..

My car was in quality control for that same part and get this they shipped it accidentily without it and they had to expedite the part to the dealership and finalize the quality control inspection at the dealership. I complained so much after 8 weeks sitting in quality control that someone shipped it accidentily. I haven'thad any problems in the 4 days I've had the car for now.

My dealer called me yesterday to check out their 1LT CGM, car had 7 miles on it and both plastic covers were popped off. I guess its normal.

Look to see if whatever it uses for retention is broken or damaged.

You probably need the dealer to order you a new set of them.

if you decide to 'fix' thus yourself you may be affecting the side curtin airbag, let the dealer do it.

I am expecting to take delivery of #8575 on Wednesday. I will keep a close eye on both inside windshield pillar covers.

My driver's side A-pillar cover pops loose occasionally. I just snap it back in. It has happened twice in a week. Next time I'll pull it off and see what isn't working.

So far no problem with mine. I've had mine since Wed. but have not driven it alot instead i've had to work.

This is not good news. Another issue to add to the list.

There is no air bag on the windshield pillars.
