painted wheels: reg vs powder coat

I plan on having my wheels painted black by the dealer for 300 dollars. It will not be powder coated. Can anyone tell the difference between regular paint or powder coated? Will it matter on the rims? and does anybody have pictures of powder coated and/or regular painted wheels?

poWDERCOAT FOR SURE!!!!!!! dont ever paint rims or else be ready for scratches and chips

Paint has problems bonding to metal wheels unlike powdercoat with is more or less a type of bonding agent for metals

Powder coat IS for wheels as prep H is for hemi's........COOL! And as indicated above. Sticks better and rejects scratches better.
