I will have to attempt to get a photo of the camaro with then northern lights, like the one with the airplane. But it will have to wait until next week when I'm off work. Then you just have to wait an see if the lights come out to play while you're setting around waiting.

That's so cool. Of all the times I was in Alaska in Winter, I was never lucky enough to see a good light show. Keep posting the pics....I love 'em!

Most of my guys that work nights get to see all the good Northern lights. I work days so I only get to see some of um thats still going at 330 in the morning. These were taken up by the Yukon River during a full moon, kind of cool.

My folks use to wake us up & take us up to dogmushers field to go watch them lol

From the Dog musher's hall you can see a big sky thats cool they took ya up there to watch um.

dont remember there being a hall there lol, All I remember is it being a big open field that during the winter time we did dog sled races & during the summer time we did model airplanes & model rockets

It's got to be a bigger sport now and they have a building and a PA system. lol did they have auto's when you use to go up there, lol

yes it was mid 70s to 1980 lol

I am only 36 lol.
dad went back & forth between fort wrainwight & fort lewis until summer 1980
