Oklahoma May 8th Meet - R&R Restaurant
 

I got to thinking about the May meet, and there's this restraunt in Guthrie "R&R Restraunt" that's the old train depot that sits next to the train tracks here in Guthrie. I went to go check it out, and got the information for reservation. So I went ahead and reserved a room for 65 people on the second Saturday of May "May 8th" from noon 'til we leave. I've listed the info below.

I would like to see the May meeting to come back to the Tulsa area.:chevy:

I just figured since this restraunt in particular is a very nice restraunt. And the $50.00 deposit for the room... well let's say it's not refundable, and that's 50 bucks I just lost if we did it Tulsa-style. Besides Guthrie sure is a awful lot closer to Tulsa than where we went yesterday. I just happen to be friends with a professional photographer from Guthrie who shoots an awful lot of good photo's of OU & OSU Football games, that I was going to have come out and take photos of our cars, and take our group photos.

Sounds great, its about time to head back up north anyways, I've posted it on the website and it is open for registration along with the dyno day meet in april and the german food in june. I am still working on posting the event for the tulsa area at the end of may, but keep looking for it cause its on its way :)

I really don't see the whole R&R plan pulling through, so I'm either planning on cancelling or changing restaurant locations.

Is there something wrong with the venue? If that's the case then no big deal cancelling, we have a meet on the 22nd and a few of us were wondering how to make it to Guthrie and then down to the Texas Speedway the same day. Let me know which way and I can see about getting the event pulled from the list on okcamaros and announce any changes

yeah. The Venue was a Dictatorship. Texas Speedway sounds more fun, and so does the meet on the 22nd. So yeah, go ahead and cancel the May 8th Guthrie meet.
