LLT Question???
Hey guys. my name is Kris. I use to own a 92 Heritage Edition RS, but later went with a more practical choice for racing up in the mountains. So i bought a 2003 Mazda MX5. I owned it for 3 years and was about to throw a MP62 supercharger set on it so i could finally kill mustangs in the straight line. last december i hydroplaned in it and went up under a tractor trailor with it. needless to say the car was totalled. so i with all the time i've had without it i've been thinkin about what i will do with my next one. alot of guys i know do the LS1 and LS6 swaps into them which is scary as hell in a MX5, but fun. ANYWAYS (A.D.H.D.) I've been thinkin about doin a swap with the LLT block. its 200 extra hp and better mpg's than the 1.8 block in the Mazda. I just want to know if anyone has the deminsions of the block, and would also like to know if it sits on the same motor mounts as the LS motors do.

hey thanks for the welcome. well my question is not really mazda related. i just need to know if the 2010 LLT 3.6 v6 fit on the same motor mounts as the 2010 SS Camaro LS3 block. if it does i can apply it to FlyinMiata's LSX kit for droppin LS blocks in miata's

Well idk about the mounts, but i will say that if you do end up getting the LLT, you will have a great motor in that miata of yours.

You can go to GM's Powertrain site and at least get the photos and specs of the various engines.
