l99 to ls3 conv. + cam install time
 

is it quite average for most shops to require 20+ hrs of install time for this type of job? I was guessing 10-15 hrs TOPS. I'm all for being thorough but that just seems excessive. What do you guys think? experiences?

Out of curiosity. What is the hourly rate? I was also quoted 20 hrs but I think it ended up being around 15 hrs charged. But I changed a few things during the install.

"Average" id guess around 80ish? high end places you could see 90-100 / hr

I paid $79 an hr.

yeah that sounds right, but im more concerned in overall install time because 20 hrs sounds ridic

Yeah that seems a bit much. I dropped mine off the previous night and they were done the next afternoon.
