A little Help Please?
 

So, I called a dealer that had a great deal as far as a refundable deposit and offering that I don't have to buy the car when I show up if I change my mind. However, they placed the order, have 5 other orders, but do not have confirmation numbers for any of us. Would any dealers be willing to give them an email or a call for me to help figure out if they messed up something in the order process? It would be greatly appreciated. PM or reply to this if you're a willing dealer. Thanks

I'm not sure why a dealer wouldn't give you this info. If they placed an order, then they have a order number -

and I don't think you'll get another dealer to to dig in another dealer's affairs. If they aren't up to par with your standards - I'd suggest working with another dealer who is more reputable.

This sounds like a crappy dealer. My guess is that they used your name and address to place orders so they can get cars on their lot. I would tell them that if I can't get an order number, then I want my name removed from the order. Tell them to find some other sucker.

.... sounds like they might have placed "an" order... but not your specific one....

Agree with all the previous posts. The dealer CAN and SHOULD email you a copy of the order with all the codes and order numbers that he sees on his computer when he placed the order. Mine did and all it took was to ask. I smell something............:barf: Yep, and it stinks. Call your dealer back and tell him to get with the program and show you some proof just so you have some reassurance.
