Can ring and pinion be installed w/ pumpkin in car?

...or does the pumpkin have to be removed. I know on my old solid axle 4th gen stuff we could do it in car, unsure on this 5th gen setup? Any help?

Also anybody know what type of increase one would see ET and mph wise in the 1/4 on an auto car?

Once you drop the exhaust, driveshaft and the axles, you only have 3 bolts left to drop the rear. IRS rears are easier to build on a bench IMO.

Like GFORCE said, it comes out very easily and it makes it much easier to work on with it our. Surprisingly few people have posted their before and after ET and MPH but this was posted the other day.
