If you look carefully it is not a Cadillac badge. Holden has a V Series as well, and the badge is different.

the black one looks ****ing bad ass from the rear, The holden front end is sick. Too bad GM wont market these cars here. they'd make a killing.

You know, I really wish that were true.

But I don't think the Holden fascia and grill would have been enough. That car was here for almost 2 years and just did not sell. I wish it we simply a matter of changing the styling of the grill. I have truly enjoyed every G8 I've driven and the GXP is just about heaven on wheels.

But those cars do look nice. HSVs are pretty potent and I imagine there are more and more guys that will recognize that if you can wait for a shipment from Australia, there are a boat load of tuner and aftermarket parts for these cars....................which are hugely poplular down under.

Amazingly, there isn't as many aftermarket parts as you would think. Plus the US dollar is in the toilet against the AUS dollar making a lot of the good parts way too expensive. The new Camaro already has way more aftermarket parts than the Holden and G8 combined.

Actually, you can't import Holdens. If you want a Holden in the US, you have to build one.

They weren't exactly marketed as well as they should've...GM didn't have the money to do so.

That, and it was given to Pontiac, which didn't have as much popularity as Chevy. A lot of people think if it became the next-gen Impala it would've sold much more than the G8.
