Here is a thought. Your cousin hates your rims and told you to your face he doesn't like them. You hate his auto zone hood scoop but, decided to vent it on an internet forum where i am positive many of the same vehicle owners also think steelies are ugly

Who cares if he doesn't like your rims. You don't like elements of his ride either. Whatever makes you and him happy is all good.

I'd tell him you have the "Police Package"....the steel wheels are stronger....other various enhancements make your car a "sleeper"....then ask him if he wants to head to the local track for slips. If that doesn't work, I'd get a new cousin cause the one you have sounds like a real doucher.

It isn't *hate*, it is just being competitive. I have been guilty of this way too many times and I am working to "put a sock on it". It just isn't nice to dis someone's car.
