Stock GXP times?

What's the fastest stock GXP time? Quickest one I've found was a 12.9 :iono:

not as fast as the 12.7 SHO that was only a tune. is a tune considered stock or not? your not replacing any parts........

Still not stock.

Stock means as is, off the assembly line...stock tune, stock exhaust, stock wheels...

You are "replacing" the old tune with a new one that wasn't from the factory and is done by aftermarket companies or different people outside of GM.

It is also not stock by removing parts. That is modification, and when it's modified it is not stock.

Someone at G8 Boards ran a 12.815 @ 109.54 mph

No its not. You're increasing the output of the engine, how could that be considered stock?

I tried finding the actual timeslip but I couldn't. However, here is their fast list:

So it's a 12.81 without a timeslip? I smell something fishy...

:iono: I didn't see a timeslip for the 12.9 you claimed either (don't bother finding it). But their fastlist rules say that a timeslip needs to be shown. So either his post with the slip was deleted, he sent it via PM/email/moderator saw it in person (both from Maryland), or the moderator in charge of that thread put him on there without any proof for some unknown reason.

I'm not going to buy into a conspiracy on this though, there are a few timeslips in our own fast list that are missing but Junkie has verified all of them. I trust the same holds true at G8 Boards. If you want to exclude it, go ahead. Or join up at their forum and ask the guy yourself.

i realize people liked it. but an equal amount of people disliked it.

even my GM fanboy friends didnt like it. they said it was ugly and a glorified Grand Prix.

in my opinion the SHO looks better
