Camaro LS 2012

What could i do/buy to give my camaro a NICE sound and MORE power than it already has?
And at a good price!

the standard right now for the LFX is an intake (CAI/Varam/etc) and an exhaust (recently installed an MRT2.0 and am very satisfied). There are many intakes and exhausts to choose from and there are many threads with video links to the different exhausts. Browse the performance sticky and the DIY section for ideas, or browse the member journals for examples of other members mods. Many of the sponsors offer package deals for customisable intake/exhaust combos, just be sure that your intake is 2012 compatible.

Also invest in a catch can, its price is quickly offset by the cost of manifold cleaning every 15K miles.

cat back exhaust, CAI, and tune is a great start

Intakes are available from CAI, Rotofab and K & N. Vararam does not currently have one for the 2012-13 LFX engine.

a tune would make it into a whole different car, especially if you have an automatic. We sell a few parts for your car to get you started, check us out- www.badnewsracing.net

I bumped into a fellow 2012 owner at the gas station yesterday, he complained he was getting 16-17 mpg with his car (an auto). I told him I was getting 21-27 depending on use, usually around 24 combo driving, he was pissed! Does the auto really suck the power like that? All I know is the auto I test drove was a dog compared to my stick, especially now its broken in and has intake/exhaust systems? How much do they differ dyno-wise BN Racing?

zer0ss nailed it. Intake and exhaust upgrades will free up more power and improve sound. Just ask the guy that just posted above me, Henry G.. We just hooked him up with a new set up. A catch can is the best long term investment you can make in your car. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a PM or give us a call.

Did he have an intake? Untuned intakes throw off fuel trims and make the car run rich or lean. If he's running really rich, it's killing his fuel mileage. Power wise they do make a bit less power than the manual.
