Diablosport trinity question

Just got my trinity in today that was replaced. Question I have is what tune to use. I see a diablosport custom tune and a 91 Octane tune. What one is better? I thought it comes with a 93 octane tune? that is the gas I use here.

please tell us you didn't buy that for the canned tune?

just cuz that tune works on one car doesnt mean it will on urs.

lol no its on there till i finish my upgrades and I will get a custom tune.

The 'Diablosport Custom Tune' is for 93 octane.

Yeah! Really! The canned tune is damn near perfect for a stock car. However, there are a couple of things that do have to be changed, namely speed limiter and skip shift gotta go..

the canned diablo tune is for 93 octane...

go onto the diablosport forums and read up on DSLogRedux to get your fueling dialed in... its worth it!

the speed limiter and skip-shift (CAGS) are disabled when you install one of the tunes...

I wish I can get a trinity that does not break when i get it. Going on my third one already.

I have the diablo trinity 93 octane tune installed but can only buy 91 here in oklahoma. Is this going to hurt anything? Should I install the 91 instead? And how come the Trinity keeps breaking on you?

I would install the 91 tune. All I can say for the "canned" tune is that it really opened up my LS3. Once I get the mods done , I'll go with a personalized tune.

I'm not a Diablo expert YET, but I would not use the 93 tune with 91 fuel

if you want to get optimum performance with the programmer you'll need 93 octane fuel... here's how:

go to the drag strip their in muskogee and purchase 2 gallons of the 104 unleaded (sunoco 260gt plus) for every 11 gallons of 91 octane you put in your tank! thats it... an 11:2 ratio will give you a true 93 octane fuel, its what i have to do up here in tulsa!

if your not willing to spend the extra $8 per gallon of race fuel, then just install the 91 octane tune!

06MonteSS 01-14-2010 07:31 AM

if you only have access to 91 octane gas in your area, then use the 91 octane tune, do not use the diablo (93) tune... the timing is more advanced for 93 and you'll get knock...
