I just seen the trailer for the new Need for speed (the run) if you buy the limited edition version of the game the ZL1 is one of the exclusive cars!

The last game I bought was NBA2K11 because they had Jordan on the cover and a bunch of Jordan challenges in the game. I'm a huge Bulls fan so this was an insta-buy. I hadn't bought a basketball game in many years.

Now they include the only car on the planet that I couldn't resist purchasing a game with it in. I honestly would never consider if the ZL1 was absent.

I guess I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff :help:

The only other game on my radar (car-related) is Forza Motorsport 4. I'll get that regardless of ZL1, but I feel like it's going to either come with it, or be a DLC later. As many DLC cars as they had from FM3, I have full confidence I'll be driving ZL1 sometime soon, even if it isn't real, LOL.

I just can't resist any media with ZL1 in it, LOL!

is this game going to be more "customization based" (like Underground2) or more like road course racing like grand tourismo?

I'd like it more like FM3 more than GT5, but with ZL1, I won't be too picky. The more I think about this question, the more I'm interested in fact.

For those of you with FM3, there are several ZL1 liveries in the Marketplace, FYI ;) They don't look too bad, but like always, there are only so many things one can make up with only paint and stripes. Still, I rock it on a couple SSs :)

LOL Shure, I do the same sort of thing. With my 35th Ann.'02 SS Camaro I collected certain items I found that had the logo or car involved with it. I am glad I gave up gaming years ago prior to XBox 360..as I know I would have to get that game if I still played....:D

I wanted this game before I saw the ZL-1 stuff. If you guys are gonna get it just for the ZL-1, don't forget to pre order, or EA will probably microtransact you for 5 bucks to get it

THANK YOU!!! I'm tired of playing games that brag about 1000 cars, and like half of them seem to be Twingos or some econobox I've never seen or heard of outside the BBC network. Give me some cars I've heard of. I have LOVED Forza for that reason. It looks like it's only getting better. Sorry to go a little off track there ;)

Wow they put the ZL1 against the Aventador. I just saw the Aventador on Top gear, its the 2nd fastest car on their track! Beat the Buggati Veyron Super sport as well.

It would be fair to say I'm not crazy about the Mohawk either. But who knows? After I drive one I might not be able to live without that power in my life!

Actually the Aventador came in 3rd place. Behind the Atom and the McLaren.

It's an option. You can get the var with out the roof and trunk stripe. The hood stripe is actually a carbon fiber insert so there is no deleting that. The white pre-pro ZL1 and the red one with black rims didn't have the stripe.

I might buy a PS3 now, I've been thinking about it for a while.

That game looks awesome!!!! I love the Need For Speed games, this one looks the the best yet!!

Doesn't surprise me. Real world physics don't really factor into their arcade style games very much (and I haven't yet played any of their racing sim type). Don't get me wrong, they're fun to play ... but I wouldn't read too much into what cars get matched up.

Damn, doesn't come out until November 15th. We have to wait for 4th quarter for the ZL1 in all it's forms, lol.

Was waiting for Forza 4 but now I have to get this too. Haven't picked up a NFS game in a while either.

I've been thinking the same thing. It seems hats and stuff are slow to come out and I'm drolling over seeing a JADA or other die cast, or even a model kit. FM4 doesn't come out 'til almost the middle of October... Shoot, I might not need NFSTR after all, if ZL1 comes with FM4 straight off! Who am I kidding?... I'll get it anyways... :facepalm::laugh:

I love the NFS Hot Pursuit games and I will have to buy this one to have some fun with the ZL1.
