Maybe I'm the only one, but I think that the ZL1 looks best in the lighter and brighter colors, as those colors have the appropriate contrast with the carbon fiber hood insert to really highlight it and the associated stripe. With the darker colors the CF hood insert is not nearly as noticeable and some of the visual impact of the vehicle gets lost.

I would have liked to see it with the SSX wheels, still looks awesome.

I think I agree but I have yet to see any of the cars in person. IOM is really the only color I've considered though, I've only briefly been swayed by these photos but I've always come back to IOM. I've always wanted an orange car. I think the different sheen of the stripe and hood helps with the contrast. Black on black might be cool to see.

Agree 100%, also like with the SSX wheels on the lighter colors. Helps tie in all the black (hood insert, body molding, front fascia)

Haha Id love to see the guy's face who buys this if another ZL1 with a custom carbon flash paint job pulls up at a light.
