Vibration issue

I'm having the worst luck with this car and highway driving vibration. Imagine having your tires unbalanced all the way around and now imagine driving 75 on the highway. That's what my car feels like when I go that speed. I've had the tires balanced and I've had the car aligned 3 different times. Neither of which has helped with the shake. What else could lead to this issue?

I don't want to take it to the dealer just to have them turn me away or for them to charge me an arm and a leg to do something I could have done on my own.

Did you try the Road force balancing. If its just a problem with balancing , that should fix it. Also does it always happen or only during first minutes driving. I had a similar issue but I think the tires do this when you first drive them until they warm up.

Good luck !

It happens any time of the day while I go 75 on the highway. Is the road force balancing the one that tells you if the tire is good or bad as well? I might need to do that, because I know that when I took delivery of the car the rear tires were the only new ones and the front ones were the ones that came on the car when the dealer received it.

Is your car lowered? I had the same problem too a few things I would check. Replace your driveshaft bolts they could become loose. They are not supposed to bet retihjtened and re used. Then also the car being too low. I raisedmy car and no vibration.

I guess vibration would be the wrong way to describe it since there is definitely steering wheel shake involved.

No my car isn't lowered, but knowing my wheels are balanced and my car is aligned is leaving me scratching my head...

Op - Check you front hubs. If they are bad sometimes will cause a vibration in the steering wheel.

Does the wheel vibrate when braking?

How many miles are on the car?

What do the front tires look like? If you have a pic please post it.

I can take pictures of the tires just give me a little white, and yes even at speed the steering wheel will shake when I brake. However, nothing shakes when I'm going below 65-70.

Rear tires are new?

When you look closely at your front tires do you see any signs of cupping or feathering?

Is there any pulsing in the brake pedal when you apply the brakes?

Bald spot on tires maybe? Have you ever locked them up?

Brakes feel normal?

Dfault 09-26-2013 01:42 PM

Dark spot is just from the grass being a little wet when I parked the car.
