We do not trailer our cars at Pedders. We drive them to events. We drive them to the track. Every one of our cars has seen road salt, rain, dessert heat and whatever the road trip calls for. Cars that come to the HRPT in trailers and move between stops in trailers are trailer queens.
When we do not have time to drive them we do occasionally ship them. That is the exception for us. We have driven our cars from Michigan to Vegas for SEMA. we do this for a lot of reasons not the least of which is we make suspension part that are comfortable on the street and perform well on the track. It is hard to make that claim when you move your car from point to point in a trailer.
My SEMA cars have taken the kids to school before they were shown at SEMA. They are not sculptures or pictures of cars. They are transportation in style. If we wear one out or wreck it we can rebuild it or replace it. We enjoy our cars.
Long story short, would we drive one of our cars at the salt flats? The answer would be yes. We drive them everywhere. We tease people that bring their cars in trailers calling them trailer queens. Having said that,. some of my best clients have what amount to luxury trailers for their 5th Gens. It doesn't make them bad guys. It makes them spoiled. :D
