Should I get a turbo?

I want to put a turbo in my car like the sts. However it is my daily driver and have a 20 mile commute to school 4 times a week. Will my engine blow within like 3 years? The engine has about 9000 miles on it now. Prefer that guys with turbos now answer and how long your turbo has lasted so far. Thank you!

*I also now have a k&n intake, bbk headers, and loud mouth axle back exhaust. Will these work with a turbo kit?

Sts you would lose the intake and pipes

Would it work as well with the headers as much as it does with the stock manifolds? And have you had any problems yet? After how many miles? Thanks.

15K on mine. Headers would be fine. No problems and the base sts gives you a gas mileage boost if you drive safe.

15K after the turbo? If so it gives me more confidence in getting it.

Yes 15 k after the turbo . My car had 200 miles on it

Get the turbo. Make sure you do it right.

can always build the motor for more boost down the line

Sorry, no one here has a crystal ball... Will your engine be ok with a turbo on it for 3 years? Most likely.... but there's no guarantee... If your car is your daily driver and your only mode of transportation, then you will need to have a plan B, just in case... Again, most likely everything will be fine... but sh*t happens... :iono:

which could happen NA as well

Im bringing my car into the dealer to check for a stretched timing chain just in case before going FI
