Car is definitly riding lower then a stock SS
No mail slot, and i guess were not getting a TF2 hood, front grill is stock but im pretty sure well have the grill thats on the leno camaro.
Spoiler looks sweet,
anyone notice those massive front calipers?!
Z is sure looking ZZZWWWEEETTTT

I'd like to see GM open up that lower grill all the way instead of just using a contour line to make it "look" more aggressive.

I think this isn't the same hood we've been seeing with the mask over it.

Hopefully we'll get a Recaro or Sparco seat option like the CTS-V.

g-townmach 10-05-2010 06:48 PM

Oh baby, check out the front brakes.

MG 10-05-2010 06:48 PM

Are they retaining the rear brembo's from the SS?

....................................

I cant look at my SS the same anymore............ And she doesnt even have 2K on the odo yet....

Dude....ceramic window tint and sunglasses! Problem solved.

Side window tint is illegal in MI.

How hard can it be to design a visor that actually blocks the sun. I know they can do it, my Silverado has perfect visors the extent the entire length of the side window. The Camaro swings over to the side, to perfectly block 3 inches of the roof.

Sit in a CTS Coupe. Swing those visors down - perfect, swing it left and wow look at that - it extends, and perfectly blocks the left window sun.

It can be done, just takes a designer with basic design skills.

Needs only 1 things IMHO:

Put a decent fricken sun visor on the thing! Look at pic 1. Even this poor test driver is squinting because of that POS visor doesn't block shit. Whoever designed the Camaro sun visors needs a boot to the ass.

I curse those fcking visors every day on my commute to and from work. And constantly have a sunburned left cheek, because they swing over to the side window, only to not do a fcking things.

Visors people! Fix the fcking visors!

You can obviously build awesome shit, now just pay attention to some of the details.

Sorry for the rant, just finished an hour and a half commute home with the sun blazing the left side of my face.

:word::word::word: I AGREE- I have to raise the seat up like a granny so I am not blinded by the sun even with my darkest glasses.... :D

I hear your complaint and I know it's valid. For me it isn't a problem, the sunvisor is great. And the Camaro sunvisor is very close to what is in our Sky, which also works great for me.

But please don't make claims about how easy it is without knowing what that engineer has to comprehend to get that sunvisor in there. When you've done one or two come on back. Until then, I know the people that do and it isn't quite as easy as you think. Not saying it's "rocket science", it's just not as easy as you are making it out to be. And you guys should know by now, I will hear any complaint about your Camaros and I usually pass them on (most are already comprehended by the way and sometimes it is diretly from C5) but I get defensive when you guys start talking about some lack of capability by the team at GM working on this and other cars.

There I feel better now.

What is that car again?

Rogey89 10-05-2010 08:17 PM

Unreal... I cant wait to see these arrive at dealers

Z28RockStar 10-05-2010 08:59 PM

. . . . . man if I can get past not having forged internals. . . I will prolly HAVE to buy one. If not I will be in the market for a 2010 2SS/RS with no motor (cheap) so I can drop in a LS9 lol.

CAM74 10-05-2010 09:00 PM

c-dub 10-05-2010 10:00 PM

ok, call me wierd but I actually like those wheels. Very simple and subtle yet menacing at the same time. by any chance would anybody know where I can find wheels like that for a 2011?

Hoss 10-05-2010 10:07 PM

$48000 might buy one, I need to save more money! The Z-28 is a beauty and probably will be hard to find. I need to get on a waiting list.
