26K on mine. bought new, and it's a "Queen" through the winters here in Ohio.

2011 IPC. Bought new as a collector toy. 1300 miles on it, but every inch of them with a smile from ear to ear.

stryker755 05-03-2013 08:29 PM

4,500 on my 2010. Bought it with 700 miles on it last summer - driven almost daily now whenever there is not salt on the roads.

Someone hit my wifes 2003 Avalanche and totaled it. It had 41000 miles on it, insurance co. added $4975 for low mileage. I'm planning on keeping mine, so I'm not saving it for someone else, I'm saving it for me.:noidea:

Besides my SS I have a 2011 Harley Davidson Dyna Fat Bob and a 2011 Buick Lacrosse because I have the sickness Gary. If I don't ride or run my SS I start vomiting at random and speaking ancient languages I've never studied, children will go missing, the sea's will boil, and the moon will turn to blood.

Buick is for work at the VA. Veterans won't shut the hell up if you pull in with a muscle car or a Harley, they'll keep you in the parking lot all day, or find you in your office and I'll have to smack them around to make them leave.

The SS is for Kamikaze and Reconnaissance missions.

My Dyna is my main.

In about 1 more year I'll have a Ducati Panigale, well hopefully, and will have officially gone into plaid. :headbang:

I have no choice in the matter and as a rogue male this is how it is supposed to be. That's what the playbook says anyway.

I'm probably at 12,000 miles a year, still have 2 months to go, but that's what it'll be ish,

my plan is before it hits 50,000 miles buy something else, a 6th gen maybe, and put mine in the garage for special occasions, weekends, road trips, track time, whatever. That way in 20 years I'll still be able to enjoy my car with minimal rebuilds. Frankly it's not possibly having to rebuild the engine, trans, rearend, those sorts of things that bother me, its interior being abused and falling apart. But I keep my car real clean, as clean as a daily driver can be, no french fries sitting in it stinking it up, no kids(actually no one) in the back seat kicking the front seats and messing up the upholstery.

So maybe it's not the mileage, how rough are those miles. And maybe what is the quality of the car. I'm just seeing my friend's 4th gen, 2000 Z28, so 13 yrs old, 160,000 miles maybe, absolutely falling apart, driver seat won't stay up without something wedged behind it, dings and dents, anything plastic on inside is hanging by a thread. He finally broke down and got a Cruze to get him around. But before that I'd laugh when he would Zaino it. At best he was polishing a turd, but it didn't really help.

That's pretty low. Bought mine Dec 2010 and just turned 28k. Half the miles came in first 9 months though as my commute was much farther then.

She's almost 15 months old w/ just under 6K on the clock. I'm not trying to keep the miles low, I just work very close to home and I work a ton of hours to boot. Why? So that I can retire at a younger than average age. Also I have a beater for bad weather days.

Bought mine in oct 2010 and it a v6 brought it as a dd but it has a little over 18500. Don't know why I don't drive it much to be honest with 3 other I cars I fined myself driving it on weekend. Been thinking of selling it just looking for a vette in my price range.

1800 on my 2010 ABM 2SS/RS. Purchased December 2009. Just drive on weekends and it is put away during the winter months.

pbretelson 05-04-2013 09:03 PM

8900 miles on my 2011 2SS. Purchased it in Jan, 2011 with a little over 200 miles. It was a DD for the first summer and fall and now is a weekend/whenever I want car.

Sword5 05-04-2013 09:14 PM

Mine has low mileage but it won't be going to anyone else. I bought a 93 Z28 in June of 93 with 4 miles, it has 107,000 now and almost 21 years old. I've always had other cars or bikes to drive so neither gets a lot of miles. If you totaled the miles on all vehicles that I drive it would probably be 10,000 + miles a year, so. I paid cash for the SS when I bought it and never planned to sell it. I have fun driving all of my vehicles not just the SS.

I only drive my '13 to church on Sundays. I can't figure how I'm up to 11,000 miles since I picked it up Thanksgiving week 2012?

3rdgen3 05-06-2013 05:33 PM

Bought my 2012 LS3 brand new in June of 2012.

I now have 23k on it, not even a year yet.

I've broken 2x rear axles and ive gone through 3 sets of rear tires and I will not stop!

WTF did you all buy these cars for? To look pretty in your garages/driveways? So the neighbors all think your a hot shot?

F that...I got mine to enjoy burning rubber on a daily basis!

Where do you go to church, in Indiana?

Again who knows what tomorrow will bring, you could end up losing your job, contracting a terminal illness, or have an accident where you will never be able to drive your Camaro again. You better enjoy it while you can. You can always buy another car or have yours restored. Don't waste a day, life's too short to save your car for the next owner.

Bought mine from the original owner with 2799 miles, last july. It was purchased by him 10/09. Just turned 5000 the other day. The joy of living in Ak. you can really only drive them from late April to about mid Oct.
