:D

The head to head and brackets take up the whole second day. Not a lot of time to do grudge races. Early the first day seems to be the best time. I"ll bet the drags will be funner and have more people watching if we actually listed and implemented the grudge races. We don't do them for lack of time.

PoorMansCamaro 08-08-2012 11:14 PM

yeah, have a time slotted for grudge races, and a program to hand out to people, so they know what car and who's driving on it. :D

Congrats on your win...Team L99 rules.

Maybe this is why they had a "manual only" class at the fest...lol

Yup. The class I was in was impossible to win at for a 560 rwhp car like mine. If your car can't run low 10s then you have no chance. Hell, 11.1 was the cutoff.

And the manual guys took their ball and went home. :bellyroll:

Last race of the day. Everyone was back at the hotel by then. We almost didn't race.

There's never anyone in the stands at the fest hardly. Way too much going on. :headbang:

Yeah.. It's MUCH better declaring a victory after beating your opponent..
than winning from a No-Show...

But a win is a win. PQ 2 GTA 0...

Can't argue with that, but I will.

Chris did answer his phone at 4:12 am. From zzzzs to one liners in what about 9.8 seconds. What was your best 1/4 mile?

I thought it was a win to just answer the phone. lol I wonder if he ran to the other room so as to not wake up the wife. hahaha

don't you know Randy, we all have implants that shock us awake when the phone rings from another C5 member so we can answer the phone without waking our loved ones.
