Shouldn't this be on the homepage?

Is there a reason production numbers were lower last month?

Looks like Camaro is running strong still. Congrats to all.
Also looks like they are out of 2010 Mustangs to sell dirt cheap to keep up. ha ha. jk.

From the economics perspective, how does one explain the summer surge of Mustang sales? I lean strongly to the concept that it is the time when convertibles are more popularly sold and with Mustang only providing options, it begs the question: how much of the summer surge of Mustang sales is attributed to convertibles. If it is a majority, then I would love to see next summer when our beloved Camaro is available as a drop-top.

yessss lol

The surge in Summer sales of the Mustang was solely because there was both 2010 and 2011s on the lots and Ford was throwing HUGE incentives at the now outdated 2010s.

I am just wondering if Ford has killed the goose that laid the golden egg by moving the Mustang upmarket and having GT's that can be optioned up to 39K?
Mustangs were always a less expensive option to the Camaro.

What is interesting is how the Challenger sales are moving up. Man that car is huge and drives like patio furniture. The 2011s are supposedly a big step up, but that is one large vehicle.

The Camaro is so much better looking than the Mustang as to be ridiculous, i think it's poor visibility is losing it sales.
