Check your door code for Y87.. methinks you may not need a 10 bolt after all. Soooo want a 3.8 for winter.. but after what I did in April.

I don't have a y87 I looked on my build sheet. What's y87? What you mean want a 3.8 for winter lol

Lookin good man! Suggestion for the mod list- drop springs  Could get a decent set for a couple hundred and bring her down an inch, will make a world of difference.... :)

Performance option for late 4th gens. 3.42 ratio, LS1 exhaust (smaller muffler but design/layout was identical), suspension upgrades.

Essentially a factory V6 with V8 parts added to slot it between a base 6 and going Z/28 or Formula. Most if I recall also got the RS/Firebird equivalent style ground effects.

As for 3.8 for the winter, I'd love to have one (3.8 V6 Firebird/Camaro) as a Daily in the winter. Aren't bad at all.

O nope I don't have the y87 package. I do however have the ground effects package. I'm glad I get to put my baby up for the winter. Keep the miles down and it still has never seen snow and rain maybe 5 or6 times.

What's a good set to get? Only thing I might not like about lowering springs is that I have ground effects and being the normal ride height I still manage to scrape the bottom of them on inclines and declines the way it is lol. I love the lowered look tho too :headbang:

Just gotta angle your approach ;). I have GFX on mine as well, and a 1.4" drop. There are some driveways I just don't attempt, but I have yet to encounter any real problems. Mine are from SpringTech, but there are alot of good options out there, and you certainly don't have to go as low as I did.
