How do you get comfortable on long distance trips? I occasionally make the ~400 mile trip to Milwaukee from Detroit and my shoulders get sore from my arms hanging from the wheel.
My arms/elbows don't rest on anything if I'm driving the proper 10 & 2 o'clock position. The best I've been able to do is rest my arms in my lap holding the bottom of the wheel which certainly isn't safe.

My LT arrived on March 28th and on April 5th lit out for Chat, Tn from Dallas, Tx...just a great ride..traded in a Crossfire...and have a Cad SRX....The Camaro wins out hands down

Drove from VA Beach to Wisconsin to New Hampshire to North Carolina to Wisconsin to San Diego CA (Roughly 6000 miles) and had no complaints :D

That's awesome!!!

Tom67 05-21-2010 01:23 PM

ABSOLUTELY!!

I commute 40 miles round trip to my job. I used to complain that the trip was too long. Then I got my Camaro!......now I wish the trip was longer! It's so comfortable, I don't want to get out of it upon arrivals! It's like a mobile recliner that happens to be a great performing piece of eye candy!

Drive KC to OKC every weekend, enjoying it more now with the camaro.
It's the major reason I got the V6, although the ss mpg is impressive also, for a muscle car.:w00t::chevy:

I took mine from St. Louis to Kansas City and it was a pleasure. XM, On Star, open road, life is good.

the only thing i can ask for on a long roadtrip is cooled seats....
and maybe a navi screen , its 2010 .. how can they not have something beautiful in the center of the dash to look at

Green Monster 05-26-2010 08:12 PM
